KU Children’s Services has won the 2017 Canstar Blue Award for Most Satisfied Customers – Childcare Centres.
The award recognises the high levels of customer satisfaction amongst families with children who attend KU preschools and childcare centres.
KU achieved an overall satisfaction rating of five stars, the highest possible result, which was higher than any other childcare provider in the country.
“We are very proud to have been recognised with this award which provides further confirmation that KU families are very happy with the quality of early education programs we provide for children,” said KU Children’s Services CEO, Christine Legg.
KU received a five-star satisfaction rating across every survey category, including communication with parents, educational activities, facilities and equipment, flexibility and value for money – the first time this has ever been achieved by a childcare organisation.
“Our staff and families are at the heart of everything we do. At KU, we understand the essential role that staff and families play in working together to ensure each child has the best possible start in life and we are committed to developing and maintaining open, honest and meaningful relationships with all families across every KU service,” said Ms Legg.
The customer satisfaction ratings were based on the responses from over 1,000 parents from across the country who have had a child attend a childcare centre over the last 12 months.
Canstar Blue engages professional market research companies, including Colmar Brunton and I-view, to ask Australians about their experiences with particular products and services to determine their levels of customer satisfaction.
