KU Children’s Services (KU), one of Australia’s leading Early Childhood Education (ECE) providers, today announced the launch of its brand refresh alongside a new, family-focused website. Featuring the message “Beyond childcare” prominently on its homepage, the website reflects KU’s ongoing commitment to recognising the expertise of early childhood educators and teachers and to moving beyond the traditional notion of “child-minding” towards inspiring and guiding children holistically. The refresh highlights KU’s dedication to acknowledging that children have a voice and deserve to be respected as active participants in their learning journeys.
Since 1895, KU has been at the forefront of the ECE sector, advocating for high-quality education and care. The launch of the new website, which replaces a 7-year-old platform, marks a significant milestone in KU’s digital evolution. The pace of digital transformation and the changes in the ECE sector over the past 7 years have been profound. The ways in which families discover and engage with ECE providers have evolved significantly, making the development of the new website an essential step in meeting the needs of families today.
The new KU website is designed with a focus on enhancing the user experience for both families and educators. Through extensive focus group consultations with families, as well as feedback from teachers and educators, the site offers an intuitive and easy-to-navigate interface. The website aims to streamline the process for families to find the right services and start their journey with KU, while also providing educators with seamless access to tools and resources such as professional development courses, KU’s podcast series ‘Provoking Minds – An Early Childhood Podcast,’ and information on how to apply for careers with KU.
“We are excited to launch a website that supports our vision of delivering inclusive, affordable, and high-quality early childhood education services,” said Chris Legg, CEO of KU Children’s Services. “This new platform is a vital tool in helping us extend our reach and provide more families with access to the exceptional programs led by our dedicated teachers and educators. We are proud of the strong and vibrant culture within KU, which enables us to scale our services and programs to over 11,000 children annually.”
The KU workforce continues to benefit from a supportive and inclusive work environment, which has contributed to KU winning the prestigious Australian Business Award of Employer of Choice every year since 2016, more than any other provider in the ECE sector. This thriving culture underpins KU’s ability to deliver high-quality education and care and is a key factor in the organisation’s continued success and growth.
“I am very proud to announce the launch of KU’s new website, which reflects our commitment to simplifying access to the full range of our services and programs for all families,” added Chris Legg. “This project would not have been possible without the collaboration of our staff, families, and partners. We are excited to enable growth and innovation as we turn 130 years old in 2025, as Australia’s most experienced early childhood education provider.”
