Long day care
KU long day care services go beyond childcare. Designed for children from birth to 5 years, we provide a safe, supportive, and enriching environment where your child can learn, grow and thrive.
What are KU long day care services?
KU long day care services go beyond childcare. Designed for children from birth to 5 years, KU long day care services provide safe, supportive and enriching environments where your child can learn, grow and thrive.
Our long day care services offer extended hours, operating for 10-12 hours each day, 5 days a week and up to or over 50 weeks a year (excluding public holidays). This offers families the flexibility to balance work and family, while also ensuring that children receive high-quality education and care during these important early years.
Long day care services are eligible for the Commonwealth Government's Child Care Subsidy. All meals are generally provided.
Why are the early years so important?
From their very first moment, children are absorbing information and learning from the world and the people around them. In these early years, children learn important skills such as listening, consideration and reflection.
The skills children develop in a KU program become the foundation for lifelong learning, and in fact, can positively shape the way they approach learning for the rest of their lives.
