About this service

Our program and approach

When children play and explore, their imagination and curiosity are sparked – they enjoy learning and are inspired to continue learning more.

Our play-based program intentionally provides a wide range of engaging opportunities and activities based on the Early Years Learning Framework.

Our creative use of physical spaces embeds sustainability and thought into every area, including a redesigned vegetable garden and outdoor art activities utilising the shade of our large tree. This fosters children’s wellbeing, curiosity and a wonder for the world.

Family testimonials

“

KU Croydon parent
“My daughter absolutely loves going to preschool, is always excited to go and even asks to go on the weekend. The educators have tried very hard to make her feel comfortable there and address our concerns. They have given honest and detailed assessments of her progress and encouragement. I have really appreciated it. The curriculum is great, but also how learning is a part of day to day activities.”

“

KU Croydon parent
“It’s a preschool and it’s exactly what it is supposed to be. Not a purpose built multi-million dollar building but you feel the homeliness and heart when you walk in. The natural environment outside. Warm and friendly educators. My child loves the routine but also the preschool freedom of the routine and the mealtimes.”

“

“I think KU Croydon is a truly wonderful service. My son has loved going there and the team have been an absolute pleasure to deal with.”

This place is amazing. We moved our daughter with additional needs here after being at another childcare centre in Ashfield and couldn't be happier. The space is open and welcoming with lots for the kids to do and explore. Amanda, the director and her team are great and so supportive. Our daughter fits in so well and loves being there. She has grown and improved so much in just a few months since she started. She has made some gorgeous new friends who involve and include her and she is excited to go everyday. Thanks KU Croydon!
