KU Padstow is set in a beautiful parkland location, with an expansive and inviting outdoor play area to complement our spacious indoor environment. Our well-resourced preschool includes dedicated parking for easy drop-off and pick-up.

Our program and approach

When children play and explore, their imagination and curiosity are sparked – they enjoy learning and are inspired to continue learning more.

Our play-based program intentionally provides a wide range of engaging opportunities and activities based on the Early Years Learning Framework.

KU Padstow has many areas of interest that the children are encouraged to explore. Building strong and secure relationships in a connected community, which ultimately supports the development of the whole child, underpins every part of our curriculum.

Director

Nicole Torossian is a university qualified early childhood teacher with over 20 years of experience working with preschool-aged children. She has been working at KU Padstow since the beginning of 2022.

Nicole values the importance of relationships with children, families, communities and educators to build connection and attachment to support children’s learning and development. Nicole ‘s experience and interests include early intervention, ESDM model of therapy, Circle of Security and educational leadership and mentoring.

The daily fees for 2025 at KU Padstow Preschool are:

Maximise your Start Strong fee relief at KU

This service is a recipient of funding under the NSW Department of Education’s Start Strong for Community Preschools program and fee relief is available for families of eligible children. This program provides fee relief funding of up to $4,347 per eligible child to deliver affordable quality preschool education for 3 to 5-year-old children.

Children from priority cohorts—including Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander backgrounds, families holding a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, or those with disability or additional needs—are eligible for even lower fees (equity fee).

Families can receive fee relief for 15 hours per week (2 days at KU). However, this relief can only be applied to one service. If you’ve declared it elsewhere, fees without Start Strong fee relief will apply.

I enrolled my daughter at the start of this year. To say she LOVES it is an understatement. The staff are amazing! They are all so kind, welcoming and caring. I wish I could have got a spot for my daughter earlier. Would recommend this centre to anyone!!!
