About this service

Our program and approach

When children play and explore, their imagination and curiosity are sparked – they enjoy learning and are inspired to continue learning more.

Our play-based program intentionally provides a wide range of engaging opportunities and activities based on the Early Years Learning Framework.

We have a strong focus on relationships and attachment. Our staff use the Circle of Security approach to provide a secure base from which children can develop and grow. We also use the Marte Meo method to guide and support children’s interactions with their peers and educators.

Family testimonials

KU Playford Park Children's Centre parent
“A well-managed centre, with very strong leadership. We feel very welcome as a family to give feedback and discuss our child’s progress with the staff. We also really appreciate the fact that photos of the children are not taken just ‘for the sake of it’ every single day, like many centres do just to appease parents, but in a meaningful and purposeful way, with respect shown to the children.”

“My children loved their time at KU Playford Park and I loved the fact the educators were so approachable and easy going. Parents who have moved away from the area have to bring their children back here, as the children refuse to go anywhere else. The best long day care facility my children have been to!”
