The special event was attended by children, families and staff from the preschool, as well as the Principal of Koo Wee Rup Primary School, Ben Zimmerle, Member for Bass, Jordan Crugnale, MP, KU Children’s Services CEO, Christine Legg, KU General Manager Early Childhood Education, Cherylanne Williams, KU Education and Quality Manager, Lynn Farrell and the KU Koo Wee Rup, Service Director, Melissa Luxford. The children enjoyed listening to a story told by Jordan, then sharing the activities and stories of their kindergarten with all who were present.
The new purpose-built Kindergarten is co-located on the site of the Koo Wee Rup Primary School in the Cardinia Shire Council in Victoria. The new service offers up to 66 sessional places for 3-to 4-year-old children per day and will be increasing session offerings in the near future.
KU Koo Wee Rup Kindergarten proudly celebrated their official opening event in June.
