KU Karingal Preschool has celebrated their 60th anniversary of providing quality early childhood education and care to local families by holding a community event on Monday.
The busy and fun-filled event was attended by children, families and staff from the preschool, as well as KU Children’s Services CEO, Christine Legg.
“We had a wonderful afternoon celebrating our 60th anniversary and it was lovely to recognise the special milestone with our preschool community. We had many young adults come in to celebrate with us and reminisce about their days at preschool,” said KU Karingal Director, Natalie Lombe.
“There was a large historical photo display, a photo booth for families to capture their memory of the day, speeches recognising the history of the preschool, and we all brought in and shared food with one another.”
“The event also provided us with the opportunity to celebrate the wonderful achievement of three staff members, Maria, Becky and Natalie, working together for 20 years, and the support and care they have provided to children and families in the community over the last two decades,” said Natalie.
KU Karingal provides quality early childhood education for children aged 3 – 5 years and is currently taking enrolments. For more information, contact the Director, Natalie Lombe on 02 9759 9354.
