KU Bel Air Preschool has celebrated their 50th anniversary of providing quality early childhood education and care to local families by holding a community event over the weekend.

Children, families and staff from the preschool attended the celebrations which included speeches, a BBQ and activities for the children including face painting, a magic show and the annual preschool trikeathon.

“We are privileged to have many long-standing staff members who have made an enormous contribution to the development of hundreds of children. Their passion, commitment and dedication to quality has not changed. They will forever be part of the KU Bel Air story and the story of those children,” said KU Bel Air Director, Rashifah Kamsan.

“One of the most remarkable aspects of KU Bel Air is its educators. I’ve only been here a year, but it’s clear to me that there are so many wonderful teachers who have worked so hard and passionately over the years to establish this amazing preschool community,” said Rashifah.

“The sight of the children and their siblings riding their bikes and scooters on a fine Sunday morning as part of our annual trikeathon and celebrations was simply wonderful.”
