On Wednesday 9 May, KU Peninsula Preschool officially reopened after receiving over $200,000 worth of upgrades through a joint project by KU and the NSW Preschool Growth Program.

The new building provides the children and staff with better learning and working facilities. The new additions to the centre include a fully covered verandah, internal staff room and more storage space. The building now allows the total number of enrolments to increase to 27 and also allows more staff numbers.

The Reopening event included families, past and present staff, council members and community representatives all joining together to celebrate the new look preschool with a welcoming ceremony, afternoon tea, and cutting of the KU Cake.
