Named in honour of Barbara Creaser, a respected advocate for early childhood education, this award is presented to individuals who have made significant contributions to the sector.
Barbara Creaser was known for her dedication to improving the quality of early childhood education and care, and she had a profound impact on the development of policies and practices in the sector.
As part of the award, Chris delivered an inspiring award lecture highlighting her long and distinguished career within the Early Childhood Education sector, overcoming imposter syndrome through mentorship and her passion to advocate for children, families, teachers and educators.
