KU Macarthur Parenting Program – Murrubin, celebrated its 10thAnniversary on Wednesday 7November, at KU Macquarie Fields Preschool.

The program provides a comprehensive support service to Indigenous families with young children, including home visits, parent support, transport, and a play-based early literacy program and is offered through KU Macquarie Fields Preschool.

“The celebration provided a wonderful opportunity for KU Murrubin to celebrate 10 consecutive years of providing the Macarthur Parenting Program for Indigenous families,” says Anne Ferry, Coordinator of the KU Murrubin Program.

The event was attended by Dr Andrew McDonald MP, State Member for Macquarie Fields, local families, early childhood educators, and guests from the broader and local community who have been involved in the Murrubin program over the past 10 years.

Aboriginal performer, Matthew Doyle, who performed at the opening 10 years ago, entertained Elders, staff and families during the community celebration.
