About KU psychologists
KU psychologists are highly skilled and experienced professionals who use a wholistic approach to provide therapy support for children, up to 9 years of age, and families with a range of concerns. This may include, but not is limited to:

Parent consultation
Guidance and support for parents to better understand and support their children’s emotional and behavioural development.- Cognitive assessment
Comprehensive assessment to identify and understand any underlying cognitive difficulties – screeners for Autism and ADHD are also available. - Play therapy and behavioural guidance
A specialised approach for younger children that uses play as a means of communication, emotional support and development.
Accessing support
KU is a registered provider of services under the National Disability and Insurance Scheme (NDIS) offering both NDIS-funded and fee-for-service therapy and assessment options. Medicare rebates may be applicable when accompanied by a GP-approved mental health plan.
